Why do people end up like this?

so where I'm from people are always saying (bro) to each other and its annoying. also they watch UFC and NHL. all they listen to is rap music which gets annoying as well! now one of my friends and like that and he fitted in right away. i don't want to change who i am and what i love but people always want everybody around here to be the same. they don't want someone with talent or anything else different about them! why is my town like this!?

I am going through the same thing.What I think is helpful, is be yourself.Even if they call you a chicken, stay strong.Dont say yes to anything they ask you to go to.Hope it helps.

lol i don't want to become someone i don't like. anyway thats how people are in my town i never said i would hang out with them. UFC kinda sucks and boring to me since its all punch kick tackle till someone falls. nothing interesting. most are swag people so hell no!
