Do you think it's fair that schools would hold some students to one set of standards while letting another group be exempt from those same standards? How about schools require all students to have passing grades? Even if they are really good at recess.
That's why they're called Student/Athletes. Student being first and foremost. Most Student/Athletes I know, want to compete in the classroom as they do on the field. They don't want the label of a 'dumb jock'.
Yes, for average or smart students. No, if the student is slow because obviously they can't handle the school work and that's not fair. It might help if the school held the slow student back a couple grades so they could catch up.
Absolutely. Unfortunately not all schools do.would you really want a doctor who got failing grades in high school and barely passing college grades to get a degree of doctor becoming a surgeon that someday could be someone whom operates on you its a chance thing. you should really seriously think of the future of society as a whole and not about whats fair, life is not fair you should know that by now.
Well if you can't get your work done right with out sports how are you going to do it with sports your in school to learn sports is some thing to do on the side but if you can't maintain control of passing grades with out the time consumed with sports how can you do it when your failing and have less time for school work .
