By using an injector tip on your frosting bag. Fill the bag and insert the tip to the middle of the cake, fill until it's full then frost as usual. Remember, after filling, keep the cakes refrigerated.

First bake the cup cake. Let it cool after it's done. Then take a pastry bag filled with whatever you want to inject into the cupcake. Insert the nozzle and inject your icing, cool whip, whatever. Some people will inject it through the top and then cover the whole by placing icing on the cupcake. This is also how they get the icing, custard or jelly inside the donuts and the eclairs. If you dont have a pastry bag with a nozzle, you can always put the filling into the corner of a baggie, make a small cut in the corner of the baggie. Since you dont have a nozzle you make have to cut a hole into the pastry to make an opening to get the filling in.
