If you have "floor seats" to a concert, does that mean you're on the floor standing?

I have tickets to see Lady Gaga. it says they are floor seats or whatever, but then it gives a seat number... so will I be standing the entire time or will I have a seat?

There should be actual seats, but if you want to see anything odds are you will end up standing for most of the show anyways.

I'd say the same thing.

Of all the floor seats I've ever had, not once did I "sit". It's almost impossible to see. You're better off up in the seats.

It depends on the venue. Some floor seats have actual seats, some folding chairs and some standing only.
Call the place where the concert is going to be

Oh wait a minute... You said it gave you a seat number on your ticket, so yes, there's a chair there
You'd be standing if it said general admission

No, it means you're in the first row of seats, closest to the stage ;)
