Explain what this equation means: 6CO2 + 6H2O+ light energy -> C6H12O6 + 6CO2

Report as

photosynthesis.......a synthesis photo chemical exothermic reaction (happens in presence of light) where carbon dioxide and water react together to give glucose and oxygen (i suppose)

Photosynthesis, when a plant makes its own food and gives off oxygen for us to breathe.

6CO2 : 6 carbon dioxide molecules
+ : plus
6H2O : 6 water molecules
Light energy : the type if energy being transferred
C6 : 6 carbon molecules
H12 : 12 hydrogen molecules
O6 : 6 oxygen molecules
6CO2 : 6 carbon dioxide molecules
if that made sense... I'm not completely sure about all of them, sorry!

It means someone made an error.
It's actually 6CO2 + 6H2O+ light energy -> C6H12O6 + 6O2
Plants breathe in carbon dioxide (CO2) and absorb light energy from the sun and use water to produce glucose (C6H12O6) and oxygen (O2). This process is called photosynthesis.

It is photosynthesis which is the process in which light energy from the Sun is changed into chemical energy.
