Christian rock and Christian rap, is not necessarily "Christian like"

Whats 'Christian like'? See i don't understand this thinking? How is Christian men and women singing Christian lyrics to awesome music and glorifying God and singing praise to Him not 'Christian like'??????? What is it about TobyMac that isnt 'Christian like'? He's an awesome Christian man with an awesome witness to young people, esp some who are otherwise unreachable. What is it about Mandisa or Skillit or Switchfoot or Jason Cadtro or King n Country or Manafest or Disciple that isnt 'Christian like'? Other than that a few uptight, old fashioned traditionalists dont like loud, fast music. Music isnt unChristian. LYRICS make a sing unChristian.

1 Chronicles 13:8 And David and all Israel played before God with ALL THEIR MIGHT and with singing, and with harps, and with psalteries, and with timbrels, and with cymbals, and with trumpets.

Psalm 150:1-6
1 Praise the LORD. Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heavens. 2 Praise him for his acts of power; praise him for his surpassing greatness. 3 Praise him with the sounding of the trumpet, praise him with the harp and lyre, 4 praise him with tambourine and dancing, praise him with the strings and flute, 5 praise him with the clash of cymbals, praise him with RESOUNDING cymbals. 6 Let everything that has breath praise the LORD. Praise the LORD. (not exactly quiet or slow type instruments. Sounds pretty rockin' to me!)

Psalm 33:1-3
33 SHOUT for joy in the Lord, O you righteous!
Praise befits the upright.
2 Give thanks to the Lord with the lyre;
make melody to him with the harp of ten strings!
3 Sing to him a new song;
play skillfully on the strings, with LOUD SHOUTS!
-
Psalm 100:1-2
Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands. 2 Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing. (For whatever reason way back in the old days this interpreted very narrowly to mean only slow as death and melodic. The Bible never says that. In fact it says to shout and dance and make JOYFUL NOISE!)

"And David DANCED before the LORD with all his might;
and David was girded with a linen ephod."
2 Samuel 6:14 (KJV)

"Let them praise his name in the DANCE: let them
sing praises unto him with the timbrel and harp."
Psalm 149:3 (KJV)

Jeremiah 21:4
4 Again I will build you, and you shall be built,
O virgin Israel!
Again you shall adorn yourself with tambourines
and shall go forth in the DANCE of the merrymakers.

Which is fine. What makes me so mad are traditionalists mincing around with their noses in the air pronouncing the judgement of hell on other types of very Christian music because it doesnt fit their personal preferences AND try to use the Bible and God to support their prejudices when neither has anything to do with it. I detest choral music and i dont cre for most old gospel but i dont go around saying they are un-Christian. Ditto for some of the old hymns. Luckily some of those 'un-Christian' rock/pop/rap groups have done upbeat remixes of some of the more popular hymns and we sing those at church fairly often along with the praise and worship music. Our lead guitarist in our worship band plays a seriously rockin' bass.
