What is the meaning of metamorphic rock it's for science

Metamorphic rock is rock that has been changed in it's physical and chemical form by application of pressure and tempurature.
Common examples include granite and marble.

MetaMORPHic rocks are those that have MORPHED into another kind of rock, usually through heat and pressure.

Basically, as previously answered, its a rock that forms from another rock *Not including magma/lava* Sort of like how Coal, and diamonds are made up of the SAME EXACT THING, just different concentrations of it; Sort of like the different types of gold. The more pure it is the more its worth.
