Have you ever had your blood drawn, or a IV? It's the same thing. I do agree however that in different locations it could hurt more than others. Don't be scared or worried and you should be just fine. Good luck!
Depends where. I got shots in my arms, I didn't worry about it, didn't hurt that much. But one day I had to get 2 shots in my gums... That was very painful. And soon i'm getting my lips pierced :D But I guess it depends on your pain tolerance.
No, I swear, shots dont usually hurt at all. My advice is just dont look while they're doing it, it makes it seem more painful also take deep breaths and pretend you're playing you're favorite sport or something. I was really scared to get my first shot, but it's not so bad. Oh and if you're arm gets stiff at all, just keep moving it .. you dont want cramps!
Good grief. Its better to be prepared than not. They are pushing a sharp object through layers of skin and muscle. Of course itll hurt but usually not bad. Its not fun but not horrific either. The most painful i ever had was in the butt. Hepatitis innoculation shots hurt too, but that was as much the stuff they put in as the needle. A regular shot is like a extremely sharp pinch that lasts several seconds. Look away when they do it helps. Watching makes it worse. I have to look away when i donate blood or go get blood drawn for tests.
