Can a Kodak playsport record six consecutive hours with a 16 GB card plugged into a power source?

No (assuming you have the Zx5). "The Kodak Playsport Zx5 comes with 128MB of internal memory so you?ll need to opt for an optional SD/SDHC card to record video of any length.
