that's how i got kicked out of a church once. i yelled "evolution" and they wouldnt let me come back. and my friend also got banned from another church when her friend threw holy water on her and she bent back into the exorcist crab walk and screamed like the exorcist XD so yea evolution is something not really smiled upon by believers of god because it doesnt coincide with what the bible says happened
Believing in God doesnt mean that you have to believe everything the bible says. The bible wasn't written by God, but by people who knew nothing about earth history. So, if you choose to believe in God you can also believe that he created evolution.
no and if you did your research you would know this. please don't believe in anything just because anyone tell you to,including me. read the bible and do research on evolution at trusted web site. i personally am atheist but my teen daughter is baptist.
No, God spoke everything into existance in 6 literal 24 hour days resting on the 7 day hallowing it and calling it the Sabbath. I can not for the life of me understand why it so hard for people to comprehend creationism? Some day I am sure God will tell me.
You have the right to believe anything you wish. Since evolution is undeniable most Christians accept it and attempt to rationalise the conflict by saying that God set the evolutionary process into motion, so you'll have no difficulty there.
I like to think of the archangels (Raphael, Michael, Gabriel, Uriel and all the boys in the band) as God's R&D team. They would try a design innovation and if it worked they kept it, if it failed they just tried something else. Eventually they got it right, just in time for a picnic in the Garden of Eden.
Yes, you can. Most people have no difficulty reconciling their understanding of God with their understanding of science. Some people have trouble reconciling their understanding of science with their understanding of scripture. God is not confined to scripture, and our understanding of God need not be either.
God made all of the species of animals we see today. It was mutation that caused variation amongst various species (such as different races of people) but we did not evolve from monkeys. Yes, if you believe God made it. Just kind of like what I described.
Each person has the right to believe in "whatever" they choose, and each of us should respect that choice, regardless how we may feel or believe. Evolution is the basis to the creation of existence. Whether one believes in the BIg Bang Theory, Darwinism, or Creation, there was still a beginning, which at this time, no man can determine.
The argument about creation vs. evolution has turned into a mud-slinging brawl of scientific fallacies and political expediencies. But, at its core, it was always about the question: "Do we need God?" Ironic that the first sortie in the creation vs. evolution war took place in Genesis 3. The argument starts with a decision-God, or no?-and every subsequent movement is determined by that presupposition. The decision is not a trivial one. If there is a Creator, all mankind is responsible to Him and valued by Him. We are dependent on Him for life, and we are beholden to His decisions regarding the consequences of our choices. If there is no Creator, then our lives are random chance and our only worth is that which we determine. And we are all fools.http://www.compellingtruth.org/creation-vs-evolution.html
