If a contract is null and void and in that contract it states you can sue for each others attorney's fees, can I be sued for attorney's fees

I had a contract for the sale my business and in the contract stated that we could see each other for attorney's fees. I proceeded to bring my suit against this individual and then found out I only had a month to sue her instead of a year as I had originally thought. Now she's trying to sue me for attorneys fees based on the contract that is null and void. I dropped the suit when i found out that i only had a month and would lose the case. Can she win.

If the contact is null and void, then it means that you cannot sue each other. However, depending on the contract agreement, she may put a law suit against you. Therefore, it is important that you hire a lawyer for more inquiries and assistance.

Well, I thought that as long as the case began within the time period, it is not void. That said, you really should be asking a lawyer.
