Why does ergent care take so long. (Doctors emergency center) read below

I got really sick so I had to go to a emergency center if it is a place for emergencies why does it take so long it took about two hours and i was the only person there

Maybe their doctors were busy attending to other people. It could also be that there are a very few number of doctors there. It is good you talk to their customer service so that they can explain to you the reasons as to why they made you stay for that long.

I don't know where you live, but the U.S. is short of qualified physicians. It is almost at crisis levels in certain fields. Take heart, in Britain, the average wait is nearly 6 hours. And this is the type of health care our president is trying to bring to our soil.

Emergency rooms will always take individuals who have a more serious emergency. For instance if someone comes in with a stab wound. They get that person in before you. It's not always first come first served
