Why do stomachs growl?

Report as

Our stomachs "growl" as a result of the food you recently ate being flushed out of your stomach and into your intestines.

Cause when it's usually the time you have food in your stomach, it starts to digest it, but there's nothing there so it grumbles.

Because of hunger bubbles exploding in your stomach.

There's an air bubble (or bubbles) in there either because you ate too fast or because you're hungry and swallowed air accidentally. It gurgles around on its way to the top (so you can burp) or on its way to the back door, so you can "prub" (think reverse burp; you get it).
