If you have ever eaten scallops before...please answer this question for me.

Would you please describe to me what scallops taste like? And do they taste similar to any other kind of food? I always see them on cooking shows...and they look kind of nice..but I'm not a big seafood person and was just curious to what they were like.

They are kind of like lobster but more rubbery like squid. The meat has a "grain" or strands like crab. The flavor is very mild, sweet and buttery. Where I live they get the size of a hamburger. Yum.

Sweet, buttery, mild, not fishy, unique.

They're even better than Lobster or Squid and I love those ! But Scallops are the greatest !

A good scallop is very tender and almost sweet. It has its own taste and is one of my favorite foods.

When cooked properly, they are sweet, tender, and buttery tasting. Not fishy at all. All they need is a tiny bit of salt and pepper.....no other seasoning is required when cooked properly.
They are wonderful!

They're quite unique in their flavor ! Clean and just wonderful ! We just had them for dinner Sunday night ! Try them , you'll love them !
