Why is my scalp itchy when it doesn't look like I have dandruff?

I think my scalp may be really dry but how would you treat it when you don't want your fine hair to be limp?

Report as

Well when my scalp was very itchy for a long time, i did not know what i was. It turned out to be lice..

You should care if it is civil. this is supposed to be a relativity friendly forum where people can get answers to their questions. Not a beat up fest just because you find someone who does not agree with you.

Alyssa, enough. You need to stop. You are acting like a fool, and proving without a doubt that you are one.

You need a hair treatment probably like some hair product for dry scalp. Or you just need to wash you hair again (wash it well)

Use some natural oils, like Tea Tree Oil, it works really well. These winter days, and dry heat in homes and businesses make your scalp dry and itchy, try using a different shampoo(:

I get itchy all over in the dry winter air. It helps to drink plenty of water, and try to go one extra day (or at least half a day) longer than you usually do when washing your hair... Then your scalp can try to replenish its own natural oils.

You may have a yeast issue. Eat more yogurt, and take probiotics.
