What type of dog should I get? It has to be friendly, and good with children.

Golden retrievers. By far. They seem big, but they are as friendly as can be. ;). My mom bought one when my sister and I were young and he was so gentle with us. When we were young, we liked hand feeding him an he didnt even like try to bite our fingers and when we would like play tug of war with his dog toy, he was always so gentle. Now, lol all he does is sleep and he passes gas in my room at night. Otherwise,golden retrievers are awesome for children.
