Serious question here...

I was at a dance for school and there were flashing lights and it was loud then i got kinda dizzy so I sat down and then I couldn't tell what was going on around me...so I went outside and felt all better..but why? I had to leave the dance early and didn't even get to buy a cupcake >.<

Not to worry you, but many seizures are triggered by flashing lights and loud noises. This could be an early sign of epilepsy. If this happens again, see your physician and get a work up done on you. Take care.

It might be time to talk to your doctor. It may be nothing, but it's always better to be safe tun sorry. ;)

The flashing lights and loud noise can cause some people to experience vertigo or have anxiety attacks.

You should be tested for epilepsy. Sometimes people have no signs of it but when there are flashing lights it can trigger it.

Great answer. I have a friend with epilepsy and she can't be around any flashing lights.

yes..that is a true statement..star!!!!

This is unlikely. Most will have other issues associated with epilepsy earlier in their lives. You may just have hypotension.
Report as
Probably unlikely but we have a family member with epilepsy. IT was one reason that could cause the brain the react to having such issues..Many reasons for sure..

This can happen when you experience a sensory overload. It may have been aggravated by hunger or stress. Nothing to worry about unless it becomes a common occurrence.

you don't happen to be a doctor, do you?? you should've put that: It's likely to be epilepsy. and even if you are a doctor, doctors don't usually diagnose without seeing the patient.
Report as
It might not be and I'm not a doctor it's just a hypothesis it could be a one time thing I'm sorry I didn't mean to lead her any where she should see a doctor that should have been what I should have said sorry
