Depends whether you side with the poor or with the rich. The rich want to make the poor poorer because they can, and it gets them more money. The poor have hardly any power, and so to defend themselves against the rich they have to show strength in numbers, and elect a labor leader like Obama. Admittedly, he's been less than a great labor leader, but Romney is a leader of oppression.
Obama all the way. I'm not even American and I just love him. Why the hell would anyone want a president who is against women rights and doesn't care about equality for gays? Romney sucks. Thank god Obama was re-elected.
To me, observing from the flip side of the planet Romney was frightening. He is extremely charismatic, extremely photogenic, and extremely plausible.
But he reminded me of a line from the book version of LOTR.
When the hobbits met Strider at the Prancing Pony Frodo was alone in trusting him. The others thought that he may have come from the enemy. Frodo said, "No, if he came from the enemy he would look more fair but feel more foul."
At which Strider laughed and said, "So I look foul but feel fair."
To me, Romney looked fair -- very fair -- but felt foul.
