What are 3 points on how deforestation is negative?

I need to write a speech on the negative impacts of deforestation, at least 3 points would be helpful

(1) Deforestation impoverishes the environment and accelerates the extinction of fragile animals and plants (2) Deforestation interferes with the water cycle and can transform fertile areas into deserts in a decade or so (3) Forests are the "lungs of the world." Without them the oxygen levels in our atmosphere would fall to suffocating levels. (4) Deforestation causes erosion of the topsoil, which strips vast areas of any capacity to carry crops or farming animals.

-Forests, especially rainforests are home to many unique animals and plants.
-They also protect us from stronger global warming impact by absorbing carbon dioxide from atmosphere. Less trees means more impact to global warming and climate change. Deforestation is also responsible for about 20% of total CO2 emissions from human activities (the machines used to cut down the trees)
