I'm sorry. I don't fully understand your phrasing of the question. Did you mean, "Do you have to be baptized to become a Christian to go to heaven?" Well, yes, baptism is part of the salvation process, but by itself it is no more than getting wet.
As Strawberry said, "Baptism cannot be a requirement for salvation." Such is the case for anything that people can think is enough by itself : repenting, believing, praying, confessing, etc.
Eph 3:1-14; 1 Cor 2:4-9; 2 Tim. 1:7-10; Titus 1:1-3, etc. all show that God had the plan in place even before creating the world!
And verses like Eph. 5:2; Hebrews 7 : 24 - 27; Heb. 9:26 and 10:12; Rom. 3:23,24,25 ; 1John 4:10; 1Pet. 1:17,18,19; Eph. 1:7, etc. show clearly that it is through Christ's sacrifice that we obtain salvation.
However, God is wanting a covenant relationship with us, and as such we "have to do our part", as little as that may be in comparison to what God has done! Yes, to be a Christian to go to heaven you have to hear the Gospel, believe it, repent of your wrongs, confess the Lord, and be baptized into Jesus to receive the forgiveness of sins and receive the Holy Spirit. As a Christian you then need to grow in Christ, bearing fruit of the spirit to go to heaven. Again, I'm not sure if this answers your question, but I hope it does.

When I was a baby I was baptised catholic. I go to a Christian church and believe I am Christian.

Oh, well, I will go from a neutral position that it doesn't matter what I think or you think or what others think (you can get opinions that run the gamut here on ask!).
I would say that as long as you have done what GOD says to do you are good to go - so read His word and see if you have done what He says -
Mark 16:16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. (Did you believe the Gospel and were baptized to be saved from your sins?)
Acts 22:16 And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord. (Were you calling on the name of the Lord when you were immersed?)
Rom. 6:3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? 6:4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. 6:5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: 6:6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. (Did you come up out of the waters determined to live a new life for God no longer serving sin?)
Gal. 3:27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. (Did you put on Christ - i.e. become a new person doing away with your old things? - 2 Cor. 5:17 "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.")
Col. 2:12 Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead. (Were you baptized in faith of God's power to act and work in your life?)
If a person has entered Christ through what He commanded, and continues to serve Him as He wants, then I would say that yes, that person can look forward to heaven. But if not, then I think that is what the Bible is there for - to instruct is how to get right with God.

Baptism does not save from sin but from a bad conscience. In 1 Peter 3:21, Peter clearly taught that baptism was not a ceremonial act of physical purification, but the pledge of a good conscience toward God. Baptism is the symbol of what has already occurred in the heart and life of one who has trusted Christ as Savior (Romans 6:3-5; Galatians 3:27; Colossians 2:12). Baptism is an important step of obedience that every Christian should take. Baptism cannot be a requirement for salvation. To make it such is an attack on the sufficiency of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

I don't believe the thief that hung on the cross was ever baptized. He asked for forgiveness and Jesus told him he would see him in paradise. I suppose you could draw your own conclusions.

if you were in the middle of the desert, dying; and asked Jesus to forgive you of your sins, you are forgiven! no one need carry you to water for baptism. Jesus did it all on the cross!

Well this question is interesting. There's only a certain number of people that are actually going to heaven when they die. They number 144,000 (revelation 7:4). God chose them in Pentecost 33 c.e., after Jesus was resurrected. Hence, they are not selected from many different religions. All are Christians, and all proudly bear the name of the Father—Jehovah. When they are resurrected, they receive an assignment of work in the heavens. The prospect of serving God in such a direct way is simply thrilling to them.

Revelation 7:9 speaks of a "great crowd." This great crowd will enjoy peaceful conditions on a paradise earth.

Not really. Salvation is not based on baptism. However baptism is important as an act of faith and obedience once you have become a Christian.
I want caution you on at least one answer here. Krobles1127 us a Jehovahs Witness. Its a very arrogant denomination that didnt even exist unto the early 1900's. They misinterpret that Revelations passage - in their own favor of course. Only JWs are going to heaven. No other Christians even, just 144,000 JWs. Dont pay attention to that silliness.

The Bible says that baptism is an important step to gaining salvation. (1 Peter 3:21) This doesn’t mean, though, that baptism is like an insurance policy that you buy to protect yourself in case disaster should strike. You get baptized because you love Jehovah and want to serve him forever with your whole heart.—Mark 12:29, 30. This is why even if you are not baptized, you are still accountable to God for your actions. James 4:17 states: “If one knows how to do what is right and yet does not do it, it is a sin for him”—baptized or not.Baptism itself is not what saves. And though we must ‘put away the filth of the flesh,’ that alone does not save us. Rather, salvation is “through the resurrection of Jesus Christ.”

Are you asking "do you have to be baptized to reach heaven?" Not necessarily. Getting baptized is a sign to people that you have committed your life to the Lord. It isn't really a requirement. It is good to do though. But you can reach heaven if you are not baptized. That doesn't mean you should think, "I don't need to be baptized to get to heaven, so I'm not going to." It is a good thing to do in the Christian life.
