Making a call from cell phone on google voice

Hi,

I tried google voice on a friends iphone. I was able to choose if I wanted to make a call using google voice, even local calls. I downloaded the app to my lg optimus dynamic through straight talk. When I open it, it goes right to any inbox messages. When I set it up it only gave me the option of using voice for international calls, never for international calls and if wanted voicemail. When I do a search it says, to check the box the asks if I want it to ask to use voice for any calls, that was never an option. When it says how to change it, it says go to inbox and press menu, I don't have any menu in my inbox area. It only gives me three options for making all international calls, some international calls or voicemail. Not an option to ask to use voice for all calls like it says on the help into. Any ideas?

The problem that might be causing you to have only the limited intenational call option on Google Voice is due to having a different number from your Google Voice number or having calls not initiated. You need to initiate calls dialer form your phone.

You can use google voice on other subscribers of google voice only, after all google is not a phone service.Seems to think some one has a notion of making free mobile calls, but we know better, notthing in life is free.
