Are your knees affected when you roll over and sprain your ankle? I have OA in both & need to associate the 2 for pension purposes.

Hi rideout3621 yes when something is wrong with your feet or ankles it affects your entire body, it can even cause problems with your hips and back. If you are favoring the ankle or walking a little differently your knees are bound to feel it.

Your knees may get affected when you sprain your ankles, where as the pain from the sprained ankle will be on the popliteal lymph nodes. The popliteal lymph nodes are located in the back of the knee in the area called the popliteal fossa.
