Not much - weight loss comes from burning more calories than you take in, but typically before you see any results, you have to do that for a sustained period of time. Starving yourself doesn't really work very well, since (at least initially) when one doesn't eat, the body goes into defense mode and actually starts conserving resources (like body fat) since it doesn't know when it's next meal is coming. So it makes it harder to lose the weight.

Eventually one would start to lose weight, but by then you would be risking worse health issues, because lacking the proper nutrition to fuel itself, the organ systems start to shut down, and eventually it can kill you.

if it was a day, you probably wouldn't really lose much of anything! If it was like a week then yeah you would lose a lot

First thing, losing weight is a slow process, it some time maybe 2-3 months.
However, fast improves digestion and metabolism, so it can help in losing weight.

Not very much because weight loss comes from burning calories, and if you haven't eaten, you don't have enough energy to burn those calories.
Plus, the next day you are likely to gain weight when you eat because you body will be turning every bit of food it gets into fat right away because it doesn't know when it's going to get more.
