What is so important about human companionship?

Another of the WORLDS LONGEST PROJECTS that a person needs help on the Book, Frankenstein.

Hi. Avenger. I don't really understand the comment below you question. But I'd like to make a statement about your question. People who don't have human companionship, just kinda of wither up, go into a shell and become anti-social, not necessarily because they want to, but because they've gotten use to being by themselves and they become afraid to interact with people. One of the saddest experiments that have been done is where scientists have taken baby monkeys away from their mothers and left them alone. I mean they're fed and all that, but they have no contact with anybody else. They will eventually truly with up and die. It breaks my heart. There is something inside of us that was made where we all need human companionship to be totally complete, I believe. I don't know if you're a Christian or not and it doesn't really matter, but God made Eve to be a helpmeet to Adam because Adam was lonely. We're just made that way. ;-)

Well you can be a hermit if that is your choice. But most folks have a need for a partner or at least human companionship once in a while

Humans are, in our very nature, social creatures. We need to socialize, because it stimulates our minds to think, allows us to see different perspectives, and enables us to get advice on and/or help with problems we can't solve ourselves. Without any social contact, many people would go insane.
The need for social contact facilitated our advancement from roaming hunter-gatherers to villagers, and that change of relative urbanization so long ago paved the way for virtually every scientific, spiritual, intellectual, and pathological development our species has accomplished.
Great book, by the way.

Human companionship helps us evolve as people. It teaches us how to communicate, and get along. It also allows us to feel and experience things, as opposed to having no human companionship.
