Can I substitute almond flour for white flour in baking recipes?

I think it is okay as long as the people eating it have no nut allergies. It is a little denser, so you may want to use slightly less. If you're looking to be healthier, try using whole wheat flour.

Typically it is not a straight cup-for-cup substitution. However, soy flour can be used interchangeably.

Soy flour cannot be used interchangeably. The protein content of soy flour is wildly different than that of regular flour.
