What percent of Africans are multilingual?

If possible, citations and different numbers for how many are bilingual, trilingual, et cetera.

Depends on what European nation colonized it a long time ago. South Africa was Portuguese and Dutch, they must have some knowledge of that in addition to their own dialect. Then there is Arab, French, English, German same applies.

Approximately 90% of Africans are multilingual. This is because they have to learn other languages as part of the syllabus most of them use in their respective countries. There is a very low percentage of bilingual.
