A mile is only short because a few letters are missing. Add the right letters and you can drink it. Chamo-mile. Compared to another mile and it would be a facsi-mile. If you how long it's been there you'll know its mile-age. 1.6 km is a si-mile. And if it started with a sibilant you'd be able to S-MILE.
