I would have to say it depends on the severity. Either type can be devastating when it gets to be too much. We all have varying degrees of tolerance to pain, both physical and emotional. Losing a loved one hurts more than a paper cut. Having your bowels torn out hurts more than an insult.
I would say emotional pain because it really gets you down with possibly negative thoughts on your outlook and life of what you think about yourself and with physical pain it can be pretty bad, but can always be stopped quickly and emotional pain just takes time to let your open wounds and heart heal up....
emotional for me, it screws my life up. my life is like a dishcloth: being dunked under, then twisted and turned and flipped and twisted and turned and flipped, and twisted and turned and flipped again.
emotional pain. sometimes physical pain causes emotional pain, and thats horrible too. but physical is just that....on the outside. you can deal with it much easier. emotional pain is so much worse and it can be so hard that you feel it physically
