Don't be around bad influences is a start .. Don't quit cold turkey because then you will get stressed and turn back .. Cut down less and less until you finally get to the point where your not smoking anymore

It can be very addicting, you might need second party intervention. Try calling rehab places in your area, they can suggest possible help groups in the area. It's tough to kick but it can be done, get help if you need it. Good luck!
