Actually your size is really important when you are giving birth some woman because they're too small that can't give birth the natural way so yes if you aren't that small you should use epidural and if you're really small you shouldn't give birth naturally because the baby doesn't have enough space. But only a doctor can tell you if you have enough space so I tell you to ask your doctor! :)
I was too small to deliver vaginally according to my OBGYN and had to have my first c-section after 17 hours of labor. Didn't have the epidural until after 12 hours into it and let me tell you I could still feel every contraction. My legs felt lifeless and it was hard to feel the push. My second child was a scheduled c-section. Although my second child decided to get here a little early they just put me under, I woke up and there she was. Wishing you the best.
