What are some good free music downloading sites?

I really need a site so that I can download free music onto my iPod and the music goes into the orange music app

I tried MP3 SKULL I got a virus from it don't use I found a safe free sight called www.prostopleer.com its completey safe I have so many firewalls all say its safe

no most of it is but the songs are not the names aren't either like I typed in sexy and I know it it says the name and is the right song for me
