It's possible. There has to be another planet, meteorite, rock, or star that forms some type of living cells. It's how we started out- cells on a barren rock that survived the violent aftershocks of a supernova.
Well lets put it this way what makes anybody so ignorant to think that an omnipotent creature would create such a vast universe and put life on only one planet? So if you beleive in a god of any type and don't beleive in extraterrestrial life you should reconsider your stance
In order to measure the likely hood of intelligent life on another planet one would use what is called the Drake equation which measures certain variables such as distance from a star of the correct type, size of planet, atmosphere... there is no perfect form of the drake equation but it is just something fun to play with for example you can take number of planets/ number of planets orbiting a star at the proper distance/ the star's temp./ the star being alive long enough to develop life on an orbiting planet/ the life becoming intelligent... etc. now this equation is modifiable this was just an example, but it is probable that around 23 planetary bodies in our galaxy could have life on it, and around 6-8 of them could develop intelligent life like us... we have had no contact however, see our galaxy is about 100,000ly long so it would take roughly 30,000- 75,000 years for a communication signal to reach them, and twice as long to send someone there, or for them to do the same

Space goes on forever; If not, whats beyond it? Every star in the sky is another sun trillions and quadrillions of miles away, who knows how many planets surround each one. I think there must be. God is a creative over achiever.
I personally believe that it would be very arrogant of us to think that we are the only life in the universe (intelligent or otherwise). Out of all the billions of stars and planets in our universe, there must be at least some other form of life.
I really think there is life on another planet, and that other planet is Mars! The reason I think I think mars is because they found traces of water on there. Mars is also very similar to the Earth's features , thus id Earth has life, there most likely life on Mars! Also its very mysterious and many people think that there is life on Mars and I back their theory! Hope this answered your question!
space goes on forever. when the universe was forming, conditions were ideal for life. over millions of years, organisms evolved to become more advanced. why couldn't it happen to another planet trillions of light-years away from here. it might have happened but we are unaware of it. christians firmly believe that god made everything happen. whereas i was raised in a catholic family but i do not obsess my life with god. my belief is that everything that happens has a scientific explanation. we do not know everything about science. humans and monkeys, gorillas and other primates evolved from a common ancestor who spread through the world and began to adapt and humans became intelligent the fastest. perhaps in 100,000 years, monkeys will be as intelligent as we are now while we have advanced much more. why can't it happen on another planet whe the conditions were ideal for another life-form to become intelligent?
i dont think earth is the only planet that supports life, if the universe is as big as they say it is then there has to be some other living things in other planets, they might or might not be more sophisticated than us.
