Why am I being restricted on comments for 1/2 an hour?

I made roughly 10 comments, and got this notice on my next comment:

You've posted a lot of comments recently. Please take a short break. You can comment more in 30 minutes.

Any reason why?

I'm going to take this quick moment to point out that creating additional accounts in an attempt to bypass the commenting limits is a violation of the Community Guidelines, and mention as well that those found to be in violation are at risk for losing their accounts.

I think ask is aiming to become a website in which you can ask a serious question... And get a serious answer... Kinda like google but keywords are not used for results... It seems like a tough goal...

Well a serious answer needs great explanation, hence we need more comments available :) But they do need to start modding un-serious questions like 'Am I cute or ugly?'

Eh... They may learn from their mistakes...

Just the same as Youtube does. You have to type in a code of some kind then you can comment another.

It's to stop questions being answered by yes, no, maybe, look it up, lol etc. From what I read in the above link posted in the moderators answer.
