She should have fought for me...why dont women get that some men are worth the fight?

Fight? Fight what exactly? Are you talking about competing for your attentions with another woman or are you talking about working on your relationship as a couple.

The former: neither would I .. If my husband WANTS someone else..then so be it. I refuse to be with someone that doesn't want or choose to be with me. I'm not going to compete with anyone for the 'prize' . The choice is given freely and openly .. it is not a competition.

The latter: I would go through heaven and hell to keep my relationship on the straight and narrow .. and come to think of it have done so ... but only because HE thought it was worth while as much as I did. It's all about balance.

biker girl nailed alot of what i wanted to know on the head. its a balancing act between two partners cobined with connecting on the levels you share with your partner. i was never upset when i wrote this question, i was more curious than anything.

It's true what they say...you don't appreciate what you have until it's gone. What's important is that you recognize your worth and not dwell on someone who doesn't.

Possibly because it's more likely for a guy to chase a girl. She probably feels that you'll end up running back to her instead. Women have egos sometimes too.

that is how i felt about it too, i chose to not be freinds partly because i dont want to be her freind nor have i ever. i have never lied to her .i was always calm and supportive with her when i told her if fate brings us together again it does but it is better that we not be freinds that would be wierd, but we still are up for adventures if i am in town but no special trips for her unless it is an emergency.

I'd certainly fight to protect a woman. But I'd never fight to keep or get a woman. I think that's silly. If I'm not deemed good enough on my own merits its not meant to be. I'd say the same thing if the tables were turned

i see what your saying but some problems are minor but major if you leave them there..kind of like an itch. besides that one error that girl may be perfect and way better match than all the other women not worth your time.
