Did my neighbor back over him and just take him to a busy road to make it look like he was ran over?

I found my cat of 2 years on the side of a busy road that he has never ever gone close or near he usually stay in my yard/home or right around my house there was no blood in the road and its a pretty busy road, no blood on him but his eye was popped out of his head..was he backed over and moved to look like a hit and run or is it possible that he was..he was also fixed so he wasn't chasing a female in heat either...

I kinda doubt your neighbor would go to all that trouble........unless this is the new Hatfields and McCoys.

the only reason I am asking is because I find it really hard to believe that my cat was all the way down there hes never ever gone that far in the 2 years ive had him and hes been staying close to home because I just had him fixed, and no they don't hate me but they do know how much I love that cat he was my sons and today is his birthday as well so instead of saying I ran over the cat...plus my husband is the one who found him and I half think he may have did it but doesn't want to say..i dunno I just found him not too long ago my son is sick with a fever and its his bday how do I tell him on top of all that his cat is dead...it just doesn't seem right in my head for him to b there on a bisy street with no blood in the road and so far from our house is all

If your neighbor did hate your cat or you he would have left it where he ran over it just to prove a point. Sounds like kitty died a horrible death - sorry for your loss. Could have been caught by a snow plow?

Am so sorry that happened to your cat. As to how and why? Unless you find someone who actually saw your neighbor doing something to the Cat you may never know for sure.
It wouldn't be unusual for a young Cat to change its habits.
He could very well have fixated on some sort of prey chased it and ended up in the wrong place/time, the lack of blood also not that unusual, the actual accident could have happened nearby, not right at the spot you found him.
Fixing the Cat helps limit the range and frequency it will go out and about looking...., But,
There truly is only one sure way to avoid a Cats natural roaming instincts; keeping it securely indoors. Again, am really sorry that happened.

Cats are unpredictable. He may have gotten bored with his routine and decide to walk about. Cats who are kept outside live much shorter lives in general. It's no one's fault; it's a dangerous world for cats. And there are rare people who will run over a cat on purpose or hurt it, too. So it's best to keep your next cat inside. Sorry about your cat.

If they really wanted to kill him there are a lot easier ways than staging a murder scene.

I'm sorry you lost your cat. If your neighbors are good neighbors and wouldn't have done it on purpose then it really doesn't matter how it happened, I'm sure it was an accident. You can guess all day long but you'll never really know the answer. If you ask your neighbors or husband that's just going to cause anger and hard feelings. Let it go, the out come is the same and there's no reason to blame anyone. I would wait until tomorrow to tell your son. Let him have his birthday with out sadness. Again, I'm very sorry for your loss!!!!
