Do you think there will ever be a cure for schizophrenia?

or is it just like other illnesses that can only be treated with medication so the pharmaceutical companies can capitalize off of the sick

According to the severity of the case different lines of treatment are administrated
The Management includes Medication and Psycho-social therapy
The Medications : 1st line of TTT includes typical or atypical antipsychotics for 2 or 3 weeks, 40-50% percent of the patients shows good response, 30-40% shows partial response while 20% shows resistance to TTT

Wow, that's a lot of reading, I saw alternative medicine, and about ten miles of reading, that's not something you glance at and find the meaning and boom your done, that's more of a study, a study for another day, but I did try to look it up

Yes. There is a lot of research being done and they are making breakthroughs in the causes and treatment. I think it's a matter of time.
