Why do my conservative friends usually appreciate their beliefs be challenged, and my liberal friends seldom do?

I have come to know that this is not a conservative/liberal thing. It is an individual thing.

Please elaborate, 'cause seems to me she hit it right on the head. Just because your friends are that way doesn't mean the rest of the liberal/conservative folks are......you are using a very narrow group to base you judgement on....how may people are you talking about.....5...10...50 ? I would like to chat with your ' conservative ' friends.....bet they wouldn't appreciate me challenging their beliefs.....lol.

What I am getting is that your conservative friends like when their beliefs are challenged and your liberal friends don't most of the time. If I missed the question then your question is worded wrong. Would you like to explain what you meant?

It's just who they are, nothing much to do with their political belief. You can't change them either.

It all comes down to a difference in opinion, since not everyone shares the same views. If you want to create equality, you should bring them both together and try to reason it out with them, and also share your opinion.

It's an individual thing. Even though I'm conservative I'm not receptive to liberals. It goes both ways.

Maybe you need new friends? Anybody that thinks doesn't mind honest, factual debate, doesn't matter which way they lean.
Before you tell me also that I've missed the question... If your question was just about bashing liberals, you should have worded it that way.
