How long does smoke linger on your clothing?

A lot longer than you think! When I quit (last October), I noticed when I was pulling out my winter sweaters and coats, that they still stunk from the previous winter! Ended up having everything dry cleaned.

Congrats Candybar! I never realized how bad it smelled until I stopped. Now I can't stand the odor!

Usually it stays there until you wash it.

until you wash your clothes, unless you smoke then you smell like a walking ashtray and your hair smells like someone set you a blaze.

Get the heck away from cigarettes and smokers! It's a dangerous and filthy habit that you cannot hide! The smell stays in your hair and clothing until washed, yellows your teeth and fingers and blackens your lungs. Every adult smoker regrets starting!

Its doesn't Smell that bad if your out side and you smoke,if your in and you smoke go out side for awhile the smoke smell will go away. And your way to young to be smoking.

None smokes when there 10 I smoked when I was 14 now I'm 16 and have chest,lunge,and heart problems..YES smoking is bad
