What reptiles or amphibians don't have to eat live foods?
Some turtles are omnivores and can eat vegetable matter plus meats. Some lizards (monitors) and turtles (painted) can eat dead carrion . Amphibians like frogs for the most part eat live prey, they respond to movement.
Most all of them can survive on greens ....my Beardie only eats live food a couple times a year!
Older turtles require more veggies and less protein.
