What does IFR mean in aviation terminology? I need to find my way home. Help!!!
Instrument Flight Rules. I'm a big Flight Simulator guy since thats the best i can get till i get old enough to get my license. A really good website to learn about IFR and all the stuff with it (vor, ils, ect ect) is http://www.faa.gov/library/manuals/aviation/instrument_flying_handbook/media/FAA-H-8083-15A%20-%20Chapter%2010.pdfif your using a flight simulator most of them have a learning center which usually has a simplified version of IFR rules cause thats all you need for a simulator.Cheers,KillerGroundhog
Instrument Flight Rules. If visibility conditions are poor, or if you will be flying above the cloud deck, an instrument rating is required, as well as several other things.(If you are a pilot and asking this question, I believe the FAA would wonder whether you should have a license.)
If you can't find your way home you have no business flying a plane
