I had surgery on my left arm tendon. After the surgery the triceps muscle developement of my left arm was gone. Why?

I have been slowly able to redevelop these muscles to some extent. They are far less developed then they were prior to the surgery. I still cannot straighten my left arm completely, but I am making some progress in this area. My question is what happen to these muscles? What did the surgery do to basically make my arm look like they never existed?

The muscles may have been affected during surgery. However, they will return back to normal as long as you take good care of your arm. You should see your doctor for more detailed information regarding this.
