That's an interesting question. In God's word the Bible at 1 Corinthians 14:40 it says, "but let all things take place decently and by arrangement." At 1 Timothy 3:1-7 it says, "If any man is reaching out for an office of overseer, he is desirous of a fine work. The overseer should therefore be irreprehensible, a husband of one wife, moderate in habits, sound in mind, orderly, hospitable, qualified to teach..." If you'll notice, they were referring to a man. Therefore, it's a man's responsibility to take the lead. You can liken it to driving a car, there is only one driver and they take the lead in driving. Hope this helps!
There are schizm groups of Catholics who ordain women as priests but the Roman Catholic Church does not recognize women as priests so technically they have no place in the church as far as the Vatican is concerned.
Actually that is not quite correct. Women CAN become priests once they realize that the Catholic Church is NOT the only Christian, God based religion out there. They ALL have the same end in mind, so it does depend upon the persons happiness, not just the organized religions existance. So if a Woman wants to become a priest they have to find a Religion that treats ALL its members with equality and deference, and NOT like the Catholic Church does.
