You need constant acceleration. Then floor it at the top of the hill. Otherwise you'll never clear the creek on the other side of the hill. At least that's what I learned from the duke brothers driving school.
Slowdown slightly until you see what is on the other side. Because, on the way up you can't see what is beyond, until you reach the top. Could be kids playing in the street 10' down. If you're going to fast, or the same speed, there may be no time to skid to a stop. (If this is a driver's ed question, & they say otherwise. OK, then write that. But I would still slow down.)
