How can a guy up and leave after 5 yrs. he is 22 I'm 21. He always cheated n I cheated once and he left n started a committed relationship.

If he cheated, then sure yeah! He already knows that he can walk all over you, and you'll take him back no matter what. Sorry :(

if he cheated more then once out of the five years than i don't think he was ever really serious about the relationship in the first place....

That's about as dysfunctional as it gets..there is obviously nothing that bonds you together, and it last 5 years? The reality is .. It just wasn't meant to be. He has found someone who makes him happy, I suggest you try to get over it and do the same.

You're going to h@te me for this... Because unlike you he actually did something about it. You took him back every one of those times and you were the fool for doing it. On the other hand, he didn't take it. He wouldn't take it. He did something about it and when it had been your turn, you didn't. I'm not blaming it on you, but that's how it is. You didn't do anything except take him back.

You will find in life that there are rules for men different rules for women. He did not break up with you because you cheated, he used that as an excuse, he wanted out of the relationship. I know it will be very hard, but try to move on and think Good Riddance!!
