It has been raining and I found my six week old puppy underwater in his pen earlier with the roof caved in.

He was pinned underwater and had mudd all in his mouth. To be honest we thought he was gone until he moved his mouth. Since we brought him inside we have tried to warm him up and he has seized and started foaming from the mouth. He is still extremly cold and is breathing faintly. Is there anything I can do for him to make it from home? All the vets are closed at the moment.

Shame it happened but not sure how, if any advice I give can help.....besides warming him up and keeping him warm and maybe elevating his back legs some to help drain his lungs, wiping the foam from his mouth and trying to keep his airway clear and clean, not sure what else you could do at home. With some luck he will survive and grow up to be a great dog.

Good advice! I hope he makes it. I feel bad for the owner...that has to be heart wrenching.

You should be ashamed. What is a six week old doing out in the rain? He should be with his mother still. This is so sad. Keep him warm, cover him up and take him to a vet as soon as you can.

He was in a pin, The roof caved in... I clearly said that... I cant stop the rain, and the mother weens them off starting at 4 weeks old clearly you know nothing about animals....

There are none here for hours around, They are all 8-5 places. :( sadly I am doing everything I can. He was freezing and his gums had turned white, but started getting color back to them when I was warming him up. I have tried to warm him up but an electric blanket keeping him in front of a heater, next to me for my body heat, and then he seized out and started foaming from the mouth. I even took the baby booger sucker things to get the water and mudd out, not really sure what to do now but pray and watch him thruout the night. and hopefully I can get him into the vet as soon as possible.
