If you work, that's easy. Just count the number of days till the weekend. If you like TV, remember what show is on tonight. If you're religious, count the days since you heard the church bells. If you're a betting man, check the paper for today's race meeting. If you're a drinking man schedule a different bar each day and remember where you were last. If you can. :) If you're none of the above, whittle a memory stick and cut seven notches in it. Label them S-M-T-W-T-F-S and tie a piece of string around the stick in the appropriate notch. But remember that it's important how you tie the string. It has to be a forget-me-knot.
I have the days labeled according to what show is on in the evening. That's the only way I have, if there aren't any shows I watch, that day is a problem. Oh, wait, I got a calendar for Christmas and hung it up where I can see it from my seat in the living room--works really well.
Draw out a calendar in a notebook or sumpthim' then X every day that passed. You can also write on your calendar things that are happening on specific days. Your calendar can start and end on any day, just because a new month starts does not mean you need to draw a new calendar, just keep making (adding on boxes) more days. It becomes a visual journal of your life.
