Is it ok to workout more than 1 muscle group in a day

im 14.i usually don't go to the gym because if rides. but I'm going today and I was wondering if I could work my legs and arms plus some cardio at the end.

There are two philosophies: a) work total body, then a day off for recovery, and repeat. b) work a muscle group one day, work another muscle group the next day, work another muscle group the following day; then repeat the series. (example: back and biceps one day, chest and triceps the next day, legs the last day, then repeat the series). It's all personal preference.

you could do a full body workout if you wanted. What you want to avoid is to make sure you Don't work out a group of muscles two days in a row, you need to let them heal before working out again. So if you did a full body, wait a day before working out again.

It's fine. Like the above answer states, as long as you take a day off to rest your body, its no problem. Sounds like you don't go to the gym everyday, so you'll be ok.
