I am israeli and converting to christianity . I have two questions ?

1. Which sect is the best ? Catholic , protestant , episcopal ...

2. How will other christians accept me ?

Report as

I suppose it would be whichever sect convinced you that Christianity is an option. For long term settled peace of mind, consider the truth of atheism.
A religious life is a life of jamming square pegs into round holes.

1. Doesn't matter, though I like being a Protestant.
2. They have to accept you, that's part of being a Christian. Lol

1 - If you haven't decided on a sect ... you aren't ready to convert. That is something only you can decide for yourself, by studying all possible choices.

2 - The same way they accept anyone.

That's why I ask those who understand .

Most people who study all the sects wind up being non-denominational.
Or leaving the church.

The only people who will tell you one sect is better than the other, are people who belong to a certain sect ... and of course they're going to recommend theirs, because it's all they know.

Christianity is best if you know how to be a true christian. If you want to more on how to convert read the book of Hebrews in the Bible. It has a lot you should know. Other Christians should treat you well and as family since after all, we are all brothers and sisters in Christ. God Bless

They will accept you lovingly!! I'm denominational, no specific religion. Go to some churches and see what suits you best!! God bless you!

You don't actually have to be in any sect I never have been but I'm still Christian, that's plainly the base of the Community Churches. It just believes in the Bible by what it says. Kinda like a far less strict version of the Catholic Church. But you won't be baptized as a young baby like in the Catholic Church and there's no Hail Marys and we don't praise Madonna. (Jesus' Mother, Mary)

There really isn't a denomination that is the correct one. Try finding a church that goes along with the Bible (preferably, the NKJV, KJV, or NIV). Ask God to help you find a good church. He will help you. But make sure that you read one of the listed Bibles and always follow it. If you find a church that contradicts the Bible in some way, leave and find a different one.

1)Doesn't matter, all are different, while Catholics take on a more serious view and worship Mary more, while Protestants take a more relaxed approach
2)Everyone (should) accept you, that is what we (or I should say Christians) are told to do, so don't worry!
