Does washing your body with shampoo do anything different? What about washing your hair with body wash?

l use Lava bar soap all over, it rinses quickly, with no residue and has some exfoliating grit in it too! This works well at getting your hair clean, will need some conditioner afterward though.

lf you're out of shampoo, dishwashing liquid works well and makes your hair smell nice.

For rough feet, you don't need a battery-operated gadget. l got a pot scrubber sponge with the rough plastic outer covering and scrub my feet with it soaped up. Works very well at a fraction of the cost of one of those gadgets the TV informercials push. You're welcome.

I think that body wash would have chemicals that would hurt your hair and dry it out, and I don't think shampoo would give your body enough wash

Soap is soap. It's all good so go ahead and use it if there's nothing else to use

If you DO use the sandpaper, be sure to have an anti-chafing product handy. Oh, my.

Shampoo and body wash are pretty much the same thing. A body wash might have a little extra oil which might make your a little oilier, especially if you have oily hair to begin with. But pretty much the same stuff.
