Why am i always in pain?

i have been in pain for as long i can remember. i cant actually remember a time when i wasn't in some type of pain. i live on a small farm in a boondock town and i am no stranger to physical labor. i dont have pain that comes from working out. i know what that feels like. this is more like the pain i had when i had my knee surgery. i still have half a bottle of pain killers from that and a refill i can get. i can take a lot of pain before i need meds but the pain im getting regularly is just getting ridiculous. if there is anyone that can give me some information that would be wonderful. and yes i have gone to see the doc. and they said nothing was wrong. but no human can be in this much pain every day without there being something wrong. message me for more information if needed.

Maybe you have fibromyalgia. My cousin has it and is constant pain.

i have thought about that but being only 18 i feel that its kind of a stretch for that one. seeing as most people don't get it until they are in their 40's or 50's. but then again i could be the exception

My cousin is in her thirties and has had it for nearly 10 years.

what areas of the body does it affect? if its only a specific area or joint then i probably dont have it seeing as everything is always hurting aside from my finger nails

Also have you seen a chiropractor? A pinched nerve can be very painful as well. Though it is more of a shooting pain in the same general area.

Fibromyalgia is an all over pain. It is like your nerves are over stimulated.

My friend had a knee he messed up because of the way he walked (he was flat-footed.) I also find that if I tweak something, walking differently makes something else entirely start bothering me. I don't know how bad your pain is, but it might help to try that. Good luck.

its quite intense as i found my self taking close to 30 advil a day trying to get a little relief from the pain. i ended up stopping all drugs so that i dont kill my liver. but if i had to describe my pain... i would say its like a migraine over every inch of my body. i have tried heating pads a hot water to try and loosen up my muscles to see if that worked but after giving myself burns from the heat of the water i figured that wasn't going to help either. our water heater is set for 140F max. and i can sit there and just have it rain on my back. it feels really good until its starts burning me then i get out and 30 min later im back to the state i was in before i went in the shower.

as crazy as this may sound, you may want to try some medidation. im not saying wright off doctors, but if you cant get to one/dont want one, you may be able to (at least) partially manage/disperse the pain through chakra alignment. there are plenty of tutorials on youtube and other places on the internet you can look. ive had pretty intense pain myslef from energy inbalances, but i am sensitive to such things. you may be too. But in no means am i saying dont see a doc!

strangely enough i have tried meditation and chakra therapy. but i haven't found that working for me and its been almost 18 months since i started trying it.

humm then i'd go to a doc honestly...streching or massage therapy might help since you say the shower helps, if only for a short while, it may be sever muscle strain since you say you do a lot of physical labor...i know im hyperflexable and i tend to severly strain muscles at random (not even realizing im hyper flexing). But ya, i'd go for doc at this point

sad part is i did when i had my knee surgery. they coulnt find anything wrong with me. i know im being difficult and crushing your ideas as soon as you think of them but i have tried almost everything i could. so i dont know what to do anymore. as i told someone else i was taking almost 30 advil a day and killing my liver. hell being only 18 drinking would be better then 30 advil a day. but i dont drink, smoke, chew, do drugs, other then the occasional one for pain, UGHHH this is frustrating...

Gatorblu has a very good point. You may very well have fibromyalgia which can be debilitating. Being that you have done heavy labor on the farm, rheumatoid arthritis or even Lymes disease could be the culprit. See a Rhuematologist for a complete evaluation.

i dont do heavy labor as we dont have big livestock such as cows or horses. we are only a small farm that sells surplus good that we get such as eggs or rabbit meat. etc. so the only heavy lifting i do is when we come back from the store with feed bags.

Antidepressants might help there's research that's says depression causes pain, you might not even know your holding things in and it radiates throughout your body, contracting muscles causing pain.

I was in some serious pain about 10 years ago after a dozen test my doc started me on antidepressant's and massage therapy, after a few months they started working. Stayed on them for a couple years no more pain.

idk im trying not to take drugs seeing as they dont work well on me. they had to use high dose tranquilizer just to knock me out for my knee operation. i am very resistant to drugs of any kind and it sucks

unless they give me morphine i dont think any of the drugs they give me will help. seeing as they had to give me high dose tranquilizer to knock me out for my minor operation.
